Eleanor Burt, 87, of South Kansas City, went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2017.
Eleanor was born on March 5, 1929 to Edwin and Clara Lawler in Deepwater, Missouri. Eleanor remained deeply involved in her church, First Baptist Church of Grandview.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon and her sister, Marian. Eleanor is survived by her son, David (Katie) Burt; her daughter, Carol Blankenship; her grandchildren: Bryan, Erin, and Justin; and her great-grandson: Brandon.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20th at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO. Interment will follow.
