Margie J (Dodds) Stockert, 71, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away on June 17th, 2016.
Margie was born June 27th, in Independence, KS to George and Pauline Dodds. Margie touched many lives. If you were lucky enough to know her, then you were loved by her. Her family, friends, and puppy, Newbie were her entire world. She was preceded in death by George and Pauline Dodds, Les Dodds, and her beloved husband of 30 years, Elliott Stockert. She is survived by Jennifer (Shelby) Meiries, Darrin Stockert; grandchildren: Laura, Ashley, Amber, Jackson, and Katie; Aunt Lillian Moyer; cousins: Bonnie Tucker and Kathy Kinnamon; and too many friends to count.
Funeral Services will be held at Longview Funeral Home on Friday, June 24th at 11:00 am with a visitation at 10 am. Interment will follow in Longview Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Humane Society or Wayside Waifs.
