Anna Franzika Bargen, 92, of Belton, MO, passed away on August 18, 2015 at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove, MO.
Anna was born October 5, 1922, in Waging am See, Germany to Leonhard Mader and Anna Yogg-Mader. She was an avid lifetime golfer and enjoyed bowling. She was an active supporter and member of nearly every German cultural activity in the Kansas City
Area, including GACA (German American Citizens Association) and the Germania Club.
Anna Bargen was preceded in death by her husband, William John Bargen and many of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Walter (Bobette); her two grandchildren:
Cedar and Kale; a sister, Fritzi; and brother, Adi.
Funeral services will be held at Longview Funeral Home on August 28th, 2015, at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Memorial donations are suggested to Children’s Mercy Hospital and GACA.
