Barbara “Bobbi” J. Roberts, age 83, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009, surrounded by her family at home in Grandview, MO.
Visitation will be held 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at DW Newcomers Son’s Longview Funeral Home 12700 S. Raytown Rd. Kansas City, MO 64149. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, April 23, in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Burial in Bella Vista Cemetery, Bella Vista, Arkansas.
Bobbi was a member of the Lions club of Grandview, MO. She was head school nurse of the Grandview School District for 18 years. After retiring her and her husband moved to Bella Vista, AR where they were members of the Village Art Club and enjoyed creating arts and crafts. She was also a member of Seekers Sunday School Class and UMW. Bobbi was a wonderful mother who will be greatly missed by her devoted family. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel J. Roberts Jr,. grandson Tony Pasquarelli, 5 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Mack of Grandview, MO, Pam Crawford of Raytown, MO, Vicki Beck and husband Ernie of Raymore/Peculiar, MO and Randy Roberts and wife Phyllis of Grandview, MO; grandchildren, Laura Hatfield, Elizabeth Clemmons, Jaime Himmelberg, Matt Crawford, Chris Crawford, Leah, Jesse, Caitlin and Allie Beck, step-grandchildren Craig and Keith Ericsson; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Billie Roberts of Grandview, MO and many nieces and nephews who were loved dearly.
