Benjamin F. Webb Jr., 89, of Pittsburg, Mo., died Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Missouri Veterans Home, Mt. Vernon, Mo. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 11 at D.W Newcomer's Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery, with burial immediately following at Longview Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. at the chapel. Mr. Webb was a retired truck driver and an army veteran of WWII. Memberships include: Bethel Southern Baptist Church, Ararat Shrine, Grandview Lodge #618 and VFW post #9638. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Webb, in 1984 and his wife, Janice, in 2006. Survived by sons Gene and wife Mari Webb, Flippen, Mo., Richard and wife Trudy Webb, Kansas City, Mo. Grandchildren, Michelle Engel, Ben Webb, Tim Webb, David Webb. Four greatgrandchildren.
