Bill J. Parrish, 80, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on September 29, 2017.
Bill was born July 27, 1937 in Verona, Missouri to Henry and Dorothy Parrish. He served in the US National Guard, but his career was spent as a Draftsman for Burns & McDonnell. Bill was known for his love of travel and reading. He was a member of ASCET.
Bill was preceded in death by parents and his daughter, Kathi Roach. He is survived by his wife, Betty of 60 years; his children: Sheri (Steve) Pate and Tami (Dean) Hutcheson; 7 grandchildren: Vanessa (Joe) Stillwell, Alan Hutcheson, Danny Roach, Britani (Steve) Harper, Tabitha Hutcheson, Matt Roach, and Erika (Eresta) Sombolinggi; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149 on Monday, October 2nd at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Longview Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to American Heart Association.
