Brian M. Nolen, 53, of Grandview, passed away on September 17, 2015.
Brian was born February 2, 1962 in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in the Kansas City area and resided in Grandview since 1983. Brian graduated from Belton High School in 1980. He was actively involved with his children’s activities and loved spending time with his family. Brian also enjoyed working in his garden and sharing his homegrown vegetables with others. When he wasn’t perusing garage sales he was a handyman around the house. He was an avid hometown sports fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, his brother: Kenny, and brother-in-law: Mark. Brian is survived by his wife, Lynn; his children: Joshua, Jeremy, Jake, Jordan, and Amanda; numerous brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home, Kansas City, with services immediately following at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Kansas City Royals or Kansas City Chiefs Charities.
