Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Longview Funeral Home (12700 S. Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149) with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years Phayvanh Mongkhonvilay, 2 daughters, Nancy Monteiro of Washington, D.C. and Anny Mongkhonvilay of Overland Park, KS; 1 son Danny Mongkhonvilay of Raytown, MO; 2 grandchildren, Gabriela Monteiro and Lucas Monteiro; 2 son in laws, Alexandre Miguel Monteiro and Tom Nhotharack; 3 sisters and 3 brothers; and 3 best friendships Brian Wise, John Candello, and Dith Phankham.
