Mrs. Connie L. Jones

Connie L. Jones of Kansas City, Mo. passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, June 17th at Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church 5702 E. 215th St. Belton, MO. (Y Hwy & 215th St). Family will receive friends from 1–2:00pm Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Memory of Connie to Hospice of KC or KC Cancer Center. Connie was born in Hoisington, KS on July 25, 1948 to Pauline & Robert Hoover. In April 1960 the family moved to Burlington Jct, MO. On May 16, 1969 she married her childhood friend and highschool sweetheart, Dennis G. Jones. Together they moved to KC, MO and had two daughters, Chrissy and Patty. Connie was a homemaker and worked at US Toy for 22 years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, reading, spending time with family and was an avid Elvis fan. Connie leaves behind her husband Dennis, daughters Chrissy (Randy) Klein, Patty (John) Luethe, mother Pauline (Bob) Jones, grandchildren Kayly, Sarah, Tanna and Christopher, great granddaughter Calistah, Brother Larry (Phyllis) Hoover, sister Robin (Mike) Peterson along with several nieces and nephews.
