Cynthia Ann Lennie

March 10, 1947 — March 7, 2023

Lee's Summit

Cynthia Ann (Pawenski) Lennie, Mother and Grandmother, completed her earthly journey Tuesday March 7, 2023, after a 30-year battle with an autoimmune disease.  Cindy was a devoted working Mother of three children.  After graduating from Riverside high school in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, class of 1965, she worked in the financial industry, finishing her career at Munder Capital Management.  Cindy enjoyed family, friends, cooking, organizing activities in her apartment complex and her bible studies. In her early years, she enjoyed camping, trips to Northern Michigan, antiquing on weekends, and always dropping everything to be with her grandkids.

Cindy was the best Grandmother, and her grandchildren were everything to her.  She is going to be missed by all whose lives she impacted.  Cindy is survived by her 3 children: Natalie (Gary) Krantz of LeRoy, Michigan, Angela (Matthew) Perry of Greenwood, Missouri, and Douglas (Denise) Lennie of Lake Winnebago, Missouri; her 8 grandchildren, Hailey and Connor Krantz, Madison, Caden, Easton, and Emerson Perry, and Dayla and Lake Lennie; her 2 brothers, Jeff (Linda) Michaels, Tom Powers; and her sister Kathy (Jerry) Eritano.  Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Joan Pawenski and brother Michael Pawenski.

The family would like to express gratitude to Ascend Hospice for the care of our mother.  In addition, we want to extend the warmest thanks to her friends at Wilshire Hills Apartments II.  You became her second family which she cherished till the end.  We thank you.

In lieu of flowers, we request donations to Oats Transit (oatstransit.org).  This nonprofit transportation service provided Cindy the ability to have safe, reliable transportation throughout Lee’s Summit.

Cindy’s Celebration of Life will be this summer in Michigan.

I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me.
