Dennis W. Beedle (70), a man of uncompromising faith, strong values, and a heart of gold, passed away on June 24, 2024, in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. He was born on October 23, 1953, in Streator, Illinois. Over half of his life was dedicated to farming, and later on, he ran his custom repair shop. In retirement, he embarked on a health improvement journey and discovered his talent for smoking premium meats, delighting those around him with his culinary skills.
Dennis received a passion for farming and was given his strong work ethic through the influences of his Grandfather, Ray Rod, and Uncle Eugene “Gene” Beedle. His beloved Aunt Alma immeasurably impacted his spiritual life and set him on a path of wisdom, discernment, and faith. Through those experiences, he was an honorable man with steadfast faith and a profound devotion to Christ.
Dennis had a great sense of humor that could light up any room. Known for his strength of character and loyalty, he dedicated himself to the farming community and supported everyone he could.
One of Dennis' proudest accomplishments was his tireless devotion to his family and the kindness he showed to everyone he encountered. Family meant everything to him. He is survived by his loving wife Rita (McGowan) Beedle and their six children: Jeff (Rachel) Beedle, Christina (Drew) McGlynn, Philip (Jessica) Beedle, Patrick (Michelle) Beedle, Jacob Beedle, and Caleb (Ellen) Beedle. Dennis leaves a legacy of love and strength that will live on through his 14 cherished grandchildren.
Dennis Beedle is reunited in heaven with his parents Wesley and Marjorie Beedle and his beloved brother Curtis Beedle. Though he will be deeply missed by all who knew him, the memories of Dennis' kindness and generosity will continue to comfort those whose lives he touched.
