Doris L. Wilder, 82, passed away on March 26, 2024. Born May 9, 1941, to Perry and Lena (Maddox) Rearden in Carrollton, MO. She graduated from Carrollton High School in 1959 and moved to Kansas City, MO to work for Hallmark Cards.
She met Stan Wilder in 1960 and they were married on February 22, 1964. They welcomed one daughter, Tani, in July 1965. Doris worked for Butcher-Greene Elementary School as cafeteria manager for 30 years, retiring in 2005.
She adored her two granddaughters and her great-grandchildren. She loved family dinners, holidays, and the KC Chiefs.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: James Earl, Donald Ray, John Paul, and Rex Wayne along with her beloved Stanley after 56 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter, Tani (Jon), two granddaughters, Lyndsie (Aaron) and Hannah (Bunkie), six great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She will be missed by all.
