Charles E. "Bud" Sevier, 83 of Lee's Summit, Mo. passed away Sat., Oct. 29, 2011. Visitation will be 10-11:00AM, Tues. Nov. 1st at Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be at 11AM Tuesday at the church. Graveside services will be at 2:30PM Tuesday at La Monte Cemetery (La Monte, MO.) In Lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church or CrossRoads Hospice.
Bud thoroughly enjoyed his career of 33 years with South Western Bell. He was past president of the Harry S. Truman Chapter of AFA and past president of A.F.C.E.A. Bud was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. Highlight's of Bud's life was the privilege to of owned a home on a lake in Ely, MN and to retire at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bob Sevier. Bud is survived by his wife of 63 years Virginia Renolds Carlin Sevier; son Glenn (Susan) Sevier; daughter Carolyn McGowan; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
