Mrs, Esther Holmes

Esther M. Mengel Holmes, 79 of Lee’s Summit, Mo. Passed away July 5, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Community of Christ Church 12600 Byers Rd. Grandview, Mo. Memorial gifts may be made to Grandview Assistance Program or Outreach International. Esther was preceded in death by her husband Ted and parents Ella and Charles Mengel. Survivors include daughter Ellen Holmes Middleton and husband John; two sons: Mark Holmes, Brian Holmes and wife Gale; five grandchildren: Elsa Reiff, Erika Rezek, Jonas Middleton, Melissa James and Kristin Holmes; and five great grandchildren: Jon & Lily Reiff, Amelia Rezek, Jocelynn James and Rylie Green.
