Mrs. E. Taylor

Josephine E Taylor, 82, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Josephine (Jo) was born on April 26, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Albert and Mayme Bremer. Jo retired from Lee’s Summit School District in 1986. She is preceded in death by her husband Glen H Taylor, and daughter, Deborah K. Taylor. Jo is survived by ; sons, Daryl, and his wife, Mary, of Olathe, Kansas; and Daniel and his wife, Pennie, of Blue Springs, Missouri; six grandchildren: Ryan and Aileen of Kansas City, Missouri; Jacob of Kansas City, Missouri; Jennifer of Lawrence, Kansas; Joel of Blue Springs, Missouri; and Zachary of Lawrence, Kansas. She is also survived by brother, Charles Bremer, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and sister Ginny Overton, Brunswick, Ohio. Visitation will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1625 W. O’Brien, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2009. Internment will follow the service at Newcomer’s Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery, 12700 S Raytown Rd., Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church memorial fund.
