Gale Eugene Miller, 84, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away February 2. He was born October 24, 1941 to Robert and Ida (Lichliter) Miller in Atchison, KS.

He was a graduate of Jameson High School in 1959. Gale joined the Air Force after graduation and served as an airplane mechanic before being honorably discharged in 1964 from McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. He retired from MO-KAN Ironworkers in 2001 after many years on the job.

Gale and Barbara (Saucier) were married November 13, 2010. He especially enjoyed traveling in the RV with Barbara and wintering in warmer climates with their dogs, Claudie and Kirby. He enjoyed socializing with friends he met on the road as well as neighbors and family.

Gale was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marilyn Meyer. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara and her children Julie (Chip) Thomas and Dan (Cindy) Hord, grandchildren Erin (Thomas) Stueve and Chad Thomas and great-grandchildren Holland, Hank and Heath Stueve. He is also survived by his nieces Amy Huntsman, Julie Turner, Lee Ann Szymanowski, Rosemary Hansen and nephew Vincent Meyer and their spouses and children.
