Gregory Schneider

Gregory Schneider of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on March 16th 2018 after a well fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Greg was born on September 25th, 1974 in Kansas City, MO.  He married his wife Jamie on January 4th, 2003 and they have 2 children.

Greg owned GSE Remodeling that Jamie will continue operating in his honor.  He also did home inspections, and if you’re reading this, he most likely inspected your home or at a minimum fixed something in it for you.  He was always helping others and loved the outdoors, hunting and spending time with family and friends.  Generally, the life of the party; always making people laugh.

Greg is survived by his wife Jamie & their 2 children Triston, 21 & Mia, 13 and Sierra, “Daughter-in-law” of 7 years.  And Greg’s mother, Dianne Schneider & John Nyquist. His father Leon Schneider & Step-mother Jeanne.  And his big brother Jason Schneider, as well as in-laws, nephews, nieces, and many other family and friends.  To Greg, everyone was family!

Please join us in Greg’s Pot Luck of Memories/Hall of Fame of pictures.  At Jamie’s request, please bring your pictures on a foam board to be displayed for family and friends.  Does not have to be pretty, but please know these memories will go home with the family to later be scrapbooked for Jamie and the kids.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Greg on Friday, March 23rd, the visitation will be from 2:00 - 5:00 pm, with the memorial service at 5:00 pm, all at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to either St. Jude's Research or Bible Baptist Church of Lee's Summit – Raymore,  3801 MO-291 Ste. D, Lee's Summit, MO 64082.
