Isata Etoile Mansaray

March 3, 2010 — July 20, 2023

Kansas City, Missouri

Isata Etoile Mansaray, beloved daughter, friend, and adventurer, has left a lasting impact on the lives of those who knew her. With heavy hearts, we announce her passing on July 20, 2023, at the tender age of 13. Isata's energy, love for life, and caring nature will be deeply missed by all.

Isata was born on March 3, 2010, in Kansas City, Missouri to union of Keshaun Rodgers and Sorie Mansaray. She brought immense joy to her parents' lives as their only child. Growing up in the heart of Kansas City, Isata attended Kipp Endeavor Academy. It was here that she nurtured her thirst for knowledge and developed friendships that would last a lifetime.

An avid explorer at heart, Isata embraced every opportunity to embark on new adventures. Isata's free-spiritedness and zest for life were infectious to those around her. Her vibrant personality filled every room with laughter and joy.

Isata had a deep-seated affinity for others' well-being and cherished quality time spent with her friends. She dedicated herself to making sure those around her felt valued and loved. Her caring nature knew no bounds as she consistently put others before herself. Isata's genuine compassion created an unwavering bond with her loved ones.

Tragically, Isata lost her life due to a traumatic brain injury at Children's Mercy Hospital. Despite this heartbreaking circumstance, let us remember Isata for the remarkable person she was — always positive, full of life, and eternally compassionate.

Isata's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly being her mother's only child. The love they shared was unbreakable and will forever endure in fond memories and cherished moments.

Isata leaves behind a grieving family who will forever miss her infectious smile and loving presence. She was preceded in death by her father, Sorie Mansaray, as well as her grandfather, aunts, cousins, and many more relatives and friends.

To honor and celebrate the incredible life of Isata Etoile Mansaray, visitation will be held on August 4, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Longview Funeral Home in Kansas City, Missouri.
