James D. Van Dyne, 78, of Belton, MO, died Friday, April 18, 2008 at home.
CMS James Van Dyne retired Air Traffic Controller served in the Berlin Airlift, Lifetime Member of AFSA, VFW, DAV, AACS Alumni. Member of American Legend, Ararat Shrine , Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Grandview, MO and served on Belton Planning Commision for 8 yrs.
Survived by Erika his wife of 55 years, and sons James, Terry, Frank, Vernon and their wives. Tola (sister) and Floyd Kapler (WV); 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
