Janice Bachtel

September 22, 1970 — July 28, 2021

Janice Sue Bachtel, 50, of Independence, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2021. Janice was born on September 22, 1970, to the loving care of James and Joyce Hebblethwaite. She graduated from William Crisman High School in 1989.

Janice originally met her husband in high school but didn’t reconnect until a few years later when she dated and married her true love, Sean Bachtel. From this union they had 2 beautiful girls, Jordan, and Baylee. Janice was a brain aneurysm survivor and touched many lives through online support groups. She adored her fur baby Rebel as if he was one of her own children. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Janice loved visiting her cousin Avie and going on her sister-cousin adventures.

Janice was preceded in death by her mother Joyce (Pollard) Hebblethwaite.

She is survived by her Husband Sean, Daughters Jordan, and Baylee, Son-in-laws Dylan, and Benjamin. Grandsons Deagan, and Cannon, father Jim, brother Jimmy, sister-in-law Kymm, brother-in-law Brent, sister-in-law Amber, Mother and father-in-law Debbie and Mike. She will be truly missed by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services for Janice will be Thursday August 5, 2021, with a celebration of Life Visitation from 6-8pm at Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery- 12700 SE Raytown Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64149.

Memorial Contributions are requested to the Kansas City Pet Project in Janice’s honor.
