J.L. Miller, 69, of Independence, MO passed away on October 27, 2017 at his home.
J.L. was born January 7, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to Forrest and Eva Miller. Jay served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, doing projects around the house, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jaylee; and his brothers: Rick and Buck. He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Miller; his son: Robert (Crystal) Miller; step-sons: Rick Langford, David Langford, and Kenny Langford; and his 12 grandchildren.
No services will be held at this time. Memorial donations are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project.
