John Lee Woodhead

John Lee Woodhead, 80, of Harrisonville, passed away June 26, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 20, from 3-5pm at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 SE Raytown Road, where military honors will commence at 4:45.

 John was born on July 18, 1943 in Muncie, Kansas, to Clarence Earl and Dorothy Lorraine (Stubbs) Woodhead. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. John worked as a greeter at the Walmart in Harrisonville for 15 years and was well-loved by his customers and his coworkers.

 John was preceded in death by his brother, Jack (Annetta) Woodhead. He is survived by his sons: Geoffrey (Sarah) Woodhead, Bill Roberts, and Barry Roberts; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Arlene (Lee) Leonard and Alice (Roland) Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.
