Judith (Judi) Caponetto, 69, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Lee's Summit, MO.
She was born on September 27, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Carl and Patricia Phillips. Judi's siblings are Carol and Larry. She attended Lincoln Southeast High School in Lincoln, NE where she graduated in 1962. She then attended Oklahoma University.
She was married for 37 years to Michael Caponetto, with whom she lovingly raised their children, Brice and Angela and grandson, Jacob Caponetto-Koch.
Judi was a talented painter and also loved sewing. She grew up the daughter of a WWII military pilot, and was used to moving all around the country. It was because of this that she had the ability to make friends with anyone and loved people. She had lots of friends and loved to keep in touch with family all over the country. She loved family more than anything.
Judi is survived by her husband Michael, son Brice, daughter Angela, married to Shawn Lollis, grandson Jacob, and sister Carol Hite. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Larry and step-mother Lucy.
