Lori S. Newville

Lori Sue Newville, beloved daughter, sister, wife, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on August 7, 1964, to Warren and Paula Kremeier, Lori brought joy and warmth to everyone she met throughout her life.

In 1990, Lori moved to Shawnee, KS from Oklahoma City, then moved to Grain Valley, MO in 1996. In 2002, Lori met her loving husband, Steve Newville. Together, they blended their families, and Lori embraced her role as a stepmother to Steve's four children with open arms. She cherished her family deeply, including her four beloved "fur babies” who were her constant companions.

Lori was a woman of creativity and passion, known for her vibrant personality and eye-catching fashion sense. She founded "Little Valley Boutique," where her brightly colored clothing and welcoming demeanor attracted a loyal clientele. Lori's talent extended to floral design, and she delighted in creating beautiful arrangements for any occasion, spreading joy through her artistry.

Lori is preceded in death by her husband, Steve, and her nephew, Dakota Kremeier. She is survived by her devoted parents, Warren and Paula; her brothers, Michael and Larry; her stepchildren, Justin, Kyle, Trista, and Jessica; her niece, Tanner; her nephews, Parker, Grayson, and Wesley; seven grandchildren; and a large circle of cherished friends and extended family members.

A visitation to honor Lori's memory will be held at Longview Funeral Home on Friday, June 28th, from 1-2 PM, followed by a service from 2-3 PM, with burial to follow. Lori will be remembered for her kind heart, her creative spirit, and the love she shared with all who had the privilege to know her.
