Our mother, Mary Lucille Lewis, passed away peacefully Monday February 2, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Paul” Lewis and her siblings: Joe Rice, Donnie Rice, Billy Rice, Linda Bathgate, and Judy Olenhouce. She is survived by her siblings: Gene Rice (Amy), Charlie Rice (Sherri), Dickie Rice (Denny), and Betty Lassiter (Larry); her daughters: Connie Nickle (Jim), Loretta Isgar, Sheila Ellis (Terry), Ruby Bergen (Jim), Sherry Macey (Chris); and her son Richard Lewis Jr. (Tammy). Additionally, too many grandchildren and great grandchildren to list.

Mary was born May 23, 1938, and married her soulmate, Paul on Dec 11, 1954. Together they shared 60 years together, building life full of love, children, grandchildren, and family. After Paul’s passing in 2014 she lived in their home in Grandview until moving to Beautiful Savior Nursing Home and finally to Foxwood Springs Senior Living.

Visitation for Mary will be held on Monday, February 9th from 11am-12pm at Longview Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 12pm. Burial will take place at Longview Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Foxwood Springs.
