Mrs. Mary Marinan

Mary Rita Marinan, age 83, formerly of Rome, New York, passed away Thursday, 20 September, in Lee?s Summit, Missouri. She was born 28 February 1924, to the late Catherine and Robert Caverly, and grew up in Elmira New York. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Marinan; four children, son Bob Marinan, wife Cathy, grandchildren Kyle, Marissa, and Kaylee of Niceville, FL, son Mike Marinan, wife Sara, grandchildren Shane, Michelle, and Timothy, Longwood, FL, daughter Cathy Marinan, grandchild Katelyn, Lee?s Summit, Mo., son Tom Marinan, wife Cindy, grandchild Dayna, Lee?s Summit, Mo. As a mother and wife, her unselfish devotion was second to none. She was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. Rita and Bill, although injured, survived the Hyatt Regency walkway collapse in 1981. Special thanks go to Kim Carrel, Clarinda Sayers, and Michelle Lombardo, for their caring compassion in our final journey.
