Ninfa (Alagna) Grantham, 81, of Grandview passed away on July 3, 2015 at Golden Living Center surrounded by her family.
Ninfa was born January 30, 1934 in Kansas City, MO to Vincent and Josephine Alagna. Words cannot describe what an incredible woman she was. She was as soft and caring as she was strong and incredibly tough. She never complained about a thing and always had the warmest smile on her face. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and even great grandmother. She’s already sorely missed by those she left behind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carrol Grantham. She is survived by her children: Robert (Ellan) Grantham, David (Tina) Grantham, and Michael (Karen) Grantham; grandchildren: Mary Jane, Tina and Heather, Sean and Kristen; one great-granddaughter, Penny; and one sister, Mary Kay Minnear.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9th at Longview Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 10th at Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church at 10:30 am with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Alzheimer’s Assocation in her name.
