Norma Brower

January 5, 1935 — July 4, 2015

Norma passed away July 4th, 2015.  She was born on January 5, 1935 to the late Louise and Blaine Richardson.  She grew up in Kimball, West Virginia.
Norma was married to the late Major Harold A. Brower, Jr..  Norma and Harold met while they were both serving in the United States Air Force.  She is survived by 3 children, whom they were most proud of.  Daughter, Dr. Patricia Ellen Boyd, husband James; and sons Dr. Harold A. Brower III, and Rev. & Dr. Todd D. Brower, wife Jean.  She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Harold A. Brower IV, wife Moon with a great granddaughter on the way; Kevin Brower, wife Rachel; and Phillip Brower with great granddaughter Kayce Brower.  She is also survived by a brother, Jack Richardson (Linda) and a sister-in-law Ruth Vander Vliet and many nieces and nephews.
Norma and Harold were long time members of Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church and both served their church in many areas.  Over the many years Norma has served as a Eucharistic Minister, Altar and Rosary, Liturgy Committee, Parish Council for two terms, Development Council, and was a member of the Serra Club.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, July 8th at Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 13000 Bennington, Grandview,  MO.  A rosary will be said at 10:45 am, followed by Mass at 11:00 am.  A luncheon will be provided after Mass.  The family wishes to have a private graveside service--entombment.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to the KC Hospice House, a wonderful caring facility.
