Patricia Shipley

Pat Shipley age 90 of Kansas City, MO, passed away June 22, 2025. Pat was born September 26, 1934 to William and Mennie (Meyers) Gatton. She attended St. James elementary and Sacred Heart Convent in St. Joseph, MO. Pat retired from CSD #1 in 1986.

Pat married Cliff Shipley on November 21, 1952, they had 3 sons. She was a life long parishioner of St. Matthews Apostle in Kansas City, MO, after it’s closing in 2020 she attended St. Catherine of Sebina. Pat was preceded in death by her Parents, her spouse Cliff, son Tom, granddaughter Andrea, brothers Frank, Andy, and Bill. Patricia survived by sons Phil and Bill, granddaughters Nikki (Garcia), great grandchildren Dillon and Jullianna, sister Mary Hosey, Sue Mollus, Theresa Miller, and many nieces and nephews. She loved to knit and crocheting, and working in the yard. She was very active in Silver Threads and her crafting group.
