Paulette E. Bennett

Paulette E. Bennett, 74, of Overland Park, formerly of Raymore, passed away on May 12, 2026. A private burial will be held at Longview Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.  The family is planning a Celebration of Life Service in June.

Paulette was born on November 23, 1951, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, to Kenneth and June (DeGroat) Cogger.

Paulette loved being on or in the water and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandkids. Her life was filled with hundreds of sweet memories of times with family and friends.

Paulette was a follower of Jesus, devoted to serving Him in all of life.  Her faith sustained her in all of life's challenges as she served her church and community.

Survivors include her husband, Ron, of 54 years; two daughters, Jenny Truman (husband, Bryan) of Raymore, and Leslie Schultz (husband, Nick) of Louisburg; five grandchildren: Jackson Truman, Luke Schultz, Kate Truman, Blake Schultz, and Lainie Schultz; brothers, Dennis Cogger of Bellingham, WA, and Lynne Cogger of Seattle, WA; and her best friend, Vickie Nagel.

Paulette was born with a zest for life and loved her family above all. She will be greatly missed.
