R. Margaret “Marge” Bellem, 70 of Lee’s Summit, Mo. passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10th at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the church (1815 NE Independence Ave. Lee’s Summit, Mo. 64086) Burial at Longview Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers contributions to St. Anne’s Church, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and KC Hospice.
Marge was a past Regent and member of The Daughters of the American Revolution (Prairie Chapter), a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church (Lee’s Summit, Mo.), a graduate of St. Luke’s School of Nursing and a school nurse with Hickman Mills School District for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Edward W. Simpson Jr. Marge is survived by her husband Norman Bellem, sons Todd Bellem and Ty Bellem, daughter Kristin Schenkelberg, four granddaughters, two grandsons and her brother Edward W. Simpsons III.
