Ramon Laon LaRue

Ramon Laon LaRue, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on March 16, 1961, Ramon lived a life devoted to Jesus Christ which shaped every aspect of his being. From his love for family, to his service to others, he truly never knew a stranger.

In his desire to serve and bring joy to others, Ramon built a career where every day was a celebration. He spent 38 years selling diamonds, guiding countless people through engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, and milestone moments, becoming everyone’s personal jeweler along the way.

Of all the “sales” in his life, his favorite and most important one was convincing Tammy to go on a date after hiring her at Kay Jewelers. The two married on March 21, 1998, and together they built a beautiful life with their children, Kierstin and Brycen, his greatest pride and joy.

Ramon was a devoted husband, loving father, and a selfless man whose generosity and love for others knew no bounds. His humor, strength, and genuine heart touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Ramon’s light will continue to shine through the countless lives he brightened, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. His spirit and the big memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. While he will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing he is at eternal rest with our Lord and Savior. His legacy is a powerful reminder that our hope is not in this life, but in the promise of eternal life through Him.
