Rex Mizener

Rexford “Rex” Floyd Mizener, Sr., 89, of Kingsville, MO passed away on May 5, 2015.
Rex was born on October 11, 1925 to Floyd and Eva Mizener in Salina, Kansas. He served in the Navy during WWII and a member of The Westgate Masonic Lodge 438. He retired from General Motors after 28 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eileen Mizener; and his sister, Rose Beckerle. Rex is survived by his wife, Joyce Mizener of the home; his children: Rex (Becky) Mizener, Jr., Cathy Mizener, David Mizener, Christi Thompson, Pam (Mike) Bryant, Steve (Kristy) Mizener, Terry (Penny) Mizener, Sr., and Robin Franklin; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; his sister, Joann Comer; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Longview Cemetery.
