Rev. Ballantyne was born January 8, 1922 and went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2007. Services will be at Olathe Christian Church 200 E Loula, Olathe, KS 66061. Burial Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 23rd at Newcomer?s Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, KC, MO 64149. Memorial contributions may be made to the church capitol fund.
Bob was the son of Walter F. and Ruby May (Riedl) Ballantyne. His wife of 60 years, Betty June, preceded him in death. Bob was a pastor in northern and central Missouri for over 50 years.
Bob leaves behind his daughter, Radelle Ballantyne; son, Lane Ballantyne; grandson, Randy Sparks and wife Ginger; grandson, Christopher Thomas; great grandson, Cody Sparks; niece, Constance Taylor, brother, Dick Ballantyne and wife Betty and their children; special granddaughter by choice, Jennie Woodrome and her husband John along with their children; and a special great granddaughter, Jennie Ross.
