Rose-Marie Carpenter

Our dear mother, Rose-Marie Carpenter, sadly passed at age 90 on August 26,2023. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with dementia. She will be put to rest with her loving husband of 54 years Thomas Carpenter. In our sadness it is comforting to know that they have been reunited for eternity. The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.

Rose-Marie graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School in 1951. She attended Methodist Nursing School where she received a Degree in Nursing. Rose-Marie and Thomas were married in December 1954. She chose to start a family instead of pursuing a career in nursing. 

Rose-Marie was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her family. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered to her. 

Rose-Marie is survived by her son David Carpenter, daughters Kim Sarlls, and Laurie Fievet (Mike). Grandchildren Kyle Oothout, Ryan Sarlls (Kim), and Carolynn Clemons (Jon). Great- grandchildren Jack Sarlls, Evie Clemons, and Owen Sarlls.
