Like a Wild Mustang he couldn't be broken. A Free spirit, harnessed only by his true nature. He always showed up and showed out!
April 23 1963, Samuel Byron Warren was born to the union of Wilda & Clifford Warren, and later brought up by Dennis Winslett. In his youth he enjoyed sports with a highlight in football. He was a strong athlete. He was the definition of a black cowboy. He rode, trained and cared for horses. He even took big risks in the rodeo. He liked driving fast and even faster cars. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to black ties and dressing to impress on any occasion. He brought into this world two beautiful daughters LaToya Duke and Sahmeah Warren. He was present for and supported all of his grandchildren and his neice and nephew; Darius 16, Sayzjah 14, DaVonna 11, Timoriah 10, Sahlaric 9, Takai 8 and Sahrin 6. His majestic legacy is STRONG and will live on! In 2011 he earned a certificate in Culinary Arts and gained the title of MASTER CHEF, which had by far preceded the paperwork! Bar-B-Q was his specialty, he even created his own sauce that most labeled exquisite!
August 20, 2022 Sammy "Slambone" Warren left this earth.
He was PRESENT and PROUD for all his babies, family and friends! His love lives in us! Let's remember him for all the laughs, life and good memories he has left us with!
