NORLUND OBITUARY

Sandra Lee Nordlund, 82, of North Kansas City, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Overland Park Regional Hospital.  Sandi was born August 5, 1939, to Richard and Marion Graves, she was the oldest of four children. Sandi married the love of her life Glenn Nordlund. Glenn preceded her in death. Together they had one daughter Cynthia (Nordlund) Miller. Sandi has five grandchildren Angela Wilkins, Dustin Mahurin, Stacey Burgess, Ethan Miller and Megan Perez; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Sandi worked very hard her whole life. She worked as a loan officer for many years at Clay County Teachers Credit Union. She later went on to work at Station Casino as a dealer of many games. Sandi volunteered at Nearly New and also fostered cats for Friends of Parkville. If you know Sandi, then you know how much she loved her Kitties! Sandi was a member of the Red Hat Society and a member of the Northland Shepherd's Centers (Lucky Ladies) as well as being a member of GlenHaven Church. Sandi is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Marian Graves husband Glenn “Butch” Nordlund, brother Patrick Graves and sister Patricia Witt. Sandi was laid to rest next to her father at Longview Cemetery. A celebration of Sandi’s life will be Saturday May 21, 2022 at 2 p.m. at GlenHaven Church 4301 NE Vivion Rd. Kansas City Missouri 64119
