The family of Shawn Michael Cronley announces his passing on June 17, 2026 at the age of 53. Shawn was born on December 25th, 1972 in Independence, Missouri. He resided in the Kansas City area his entire life. He is survived by his daughter, Josephine Marie Cronley; mother Carol Stark Cronley; sister Cherie Cronley Bissing(Jeffrey); along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father Floyd "Butch" Cronley and his brother Brandon Lionel Cronley. Shawn always had a love for music, he was a talented guitar player. He played in multiple bands over the years. He was faithful and a strong believer in God, his faith was a strong influence in his life. He dearly loved his family and friends, he enjoyed any opportunity to be surrounded by them. He had an amazing sense of humor. He loved a good laugh and quoting movie lines while reenacting the scene. Shawn was a giving soul. Many people also knew him have said he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Shawn's life was devoted to the most important part of his life, his daughter Josey. He will be dearly missed by everyone.
