Stephen Newhouse

In loving memory of Stephen Newhouse, who passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2021. 

Stephen was born on January 11, 1978, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was a 1996 graduate of Park Hill High School and attended college at Northwest University. After college, he resided in Overland Park, KS.  Stephen devoted many years of work at Burns & McDonnell, where his passion and expertise made a lasting impact.  Stephen was known for his quiet demeanor and boundless kindness.  He touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may have been reserved in nature, his warmth and genuine compassion shone through in every interaction. Stephen was a source of quiet strength and support for his family and friends, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting presence. His gentle spirit and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of those around him.

Though his time with us was far too short, Stephen's legacy of love and compassion will endure forever. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. 

Stephen was survived by his mother, Shirley Newhouse, father, Robert Newhouse, sister, Annie Steffes and her husband, Stephen, and nieces, Kate and Stella Steffes.
