Anthony McWilliams

Anthony “Tony” McWilliams, 93, of Lee’s Summit, MO made his heavenly transition on Friday, March 13, 2020. Tony was born January 26,1927 in Denver, Colorado, to the union of the late William and Irene McWilliams.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He will be remembered as a loving family man, who was always busy whether it was working as a custodian or being the best Stepfather, he could be. His hobbies were music he loved playing the trumpet and being a musician, working crossword puzzles, watching old time movies especially old-time westerns. Tony also was hat collector; he always had the perfect hat for every look.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Darlene (Bradford) McWilliams, stepchildren Calvin Dailey Jr., Melvin Dailey, Alicia Dailey, and 9 amazing Grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by nieces Danita King, Michelle King and a host of other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.

Private Family Visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2020 from 9-11 AM  Private Family Funeral Service at 11 AM at Friendship Baptist Church, 3530 Chelsea Dr #3500, Kansas City, MO 64128. Graveside to follow at Longview Cemetery
