OBITUARY Print

Bettie Sieg, 87, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021.  She was born at home in Slater, MO on January 4, 1934.  She was daughter to John Harvey and Elizabeth Bailey.  She married Dennis on June 2, 1957 and began a life together in Lawrence, KS.  Her life was filled with working in her flowers, crafts, traveling, but she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. 

Bettie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dennis and grandson John David Walker.  She is survived by her children, Tammy & David Walker, Tim & Angie Sieg, Greg & Mechelle Sieg and Vicki & Brian Crawley; grandchildren, Michael & Elle, Payton and David Walker; Lindsey & Dustin Deisher, Jackson and Connor Crawley and Aaron & Melissa McGowen, and great-grandchildren Caleb McGowen, Zoe Felies and Lilly Hartman.

A Celebration of her life will take place later this summer when family and friends can gather and share.

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing.  We attended Central Missouri State University together and Connections Church in Raytown. She will be missed.

I was her hairdresser for years. I remember when she was pregnant with Vicki. All she ever did was talk about her life with her wonderful children. Then came the grandchildren. She adored and loved each and everyone of them. She is a wonderful lady so full of love.
