Obituary

Betty Ann Fulte (Loesche), age 88, died on March 3, 2021.  She was born in the family home on Kuglers Hill, Lenzburg Illinois on December 1, 1932.  Her parents Otto Loesche and Hilda (Groh) Loesche, and four siblings Dorothy (Patton), Warren, Arsella (Phillips) and Virgil preceded her in death.  She was the proud mother of five children, Curt Michael, Dawn Elaine (Hainey), Tammy Lynn (Cox), Daniel Allen, and Tracy Lee (Carpenter).  She had eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren whom she greatly enjoyed.

As a military wife, she made a home for her family in many locations throughout the world for 28 years, including three years in Berlin Germany behind the Iron Curtain.  Many times, she was the only parent in the home when her husband was stationed in remote locations or on deployment.  Upon retirement of her husband from the Air Force in 1980, she was presented a Retirement Certificate for her 28 years of unfailing support and understanding of the military requirements, by the Commanding General of AFCS at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit, MO.
