Cody Evan Dahn, 34, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on March 9, 2022.
Cody was born on November 6, 1987 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas to parents, Marcus and Sue Dahn. Cody was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Though he faced many health challenges throughout his life, he always maintained a smile on his face and loved with all his heart. He graduated from Lee’s Summit North in 2006 and soon after joined his family’s business. He enjoyed working alongside his father at Security One where he held various job positions, specializing in product design and technical support, during his 15-year long career. He was an incredibly hard worker and even hoped to one day carry on the tradition and own his own business. Away from work, he loved spending every minute with his children, whether it was coaching their little league basketball and soccer teams, watching movies, attending Chiefs games or cheering on their favorite college team – The Michigan Wolverines, or being at the lake - fishing and walking the trails together.
Cody is preceded in death by his grandparents, Evan and Betty Notbohm, Lila Dahn, and William (Janet Stuart) Dahn; and his beloved dogs, Raja and Bishop.
He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his father, Marcus Dahn; mother, Susan “Sue” Komen; wife, Alexis Dahn; children, Christian and Ava Dahn; brothers, Casey (Holly) Dahn and their children Lance and Reece and Jeremy (Sarah) Dahn and their children Hayley, Isaac and Perry; sister, Amy (Sean) Holler and their children, Zoe and Jackson; and his Great Dane/Mastiff, Rocky.
A Memorial Service will be held at Journey Church International (1601 SW MO-150, Lee's Summit, MO 64082) on March 28th, with visitation from 4-530pm, followed by the service from 530-615pm. In honor of Cody's favorite sports teams, the family encourages guests to wear Navy/Gold for the University of Michigan or Red/Gold for the Chiefs.
