Dorothy Rea

Dorothy Rea, 83, of Kansas City, MO, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019. She was born December 11, 1935, in Eldon, Missouri to the late George and Dorothy (Barker) Hopkins.

Dorothy is survived by two sons: David Rea and Patrick (Pat) Rea; one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia (Patty) and David Hess; and three granddaughters: Jansen, Alyssa, and Emily. She is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 2019 at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. A graveside service and burial will be held at Eldon Cemetery in Eldon, Missouri on Friday at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
