Georgia "Lulu" Jackson

June 28, 1952 — November 27, 2019

Georgia Louise “LuLu” Jackson, 67, was born on June 28, 1952 to Robert and Venita Thompson in Kansas City, Missouri. Husband, LeRoy Jackson; father, Robert Thompson; and two sisters, Carlotta Thompson and Sherry Jenkins preceded her in death.

Georgia received her education in the Kansas City School District, and she graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1970. She went on to further her education by getting a degree in Business Administration/Management at Penn Valley Community College. On December 17, 1971 she was united in marriage to her “Old Crow” LeRoy L. Jackson and to this union three sons were born.

LuLu was employed at Children’s Mercy Hospital for over 20 years until her health began to decline. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Grace Spiritual Temple under the late Bishop Charles Slayton. While at Grace, she was a faithful Missionary Board Member and served on other auxiliary boards.

Georgia Louise Jackson made this transition on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Georgia leaves to cherish her precious memories: sons, Brian Jackson of Kansas City, Missouri, LaRoy (Cyndee) Jackson of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Arien Jackson of Parkville, Missouri; her first grandchild, Braylon Jackson; mother, Venita D. Thompson of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Wayne (Rosemary) Thompson of Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, Londa Thompson of Kansas City, Missouri and Lisa Smith (Bill) of Kansas City, Missouri; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and other family and friends.
