Glen Jennings

Glen R. Jennings, 78, of KCMO, died Saturday, April 20, 2019. He was born March 20, 1941 in Cass County, MO to the late Tillman and MaeDean (Ploss) Jennings.

Glen was a simple, hardworking farm boy, who never met a stranger and had a tremendous work ethic; never complaining no matter how much his back may have hurt. He loved all sports especially the Royals and Chiefs. He worked for many years at International Harvester and then for Contour Manufacturing before retiring.

He is survived by his son Scott (Lisa) Jennings, grandson Andrew (Rachelle) Jennings great-grandchildren Gabriel, Gavin and Lorelai Jennings and his brother LeRoy Jennings and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy who died in 1995, his granddaughter Emalee and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24, 2019; from 5:30-7:30 PM at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO. Graveside service will be Thursday at 11 at Longview Cemetery. Share online condolences at LongviewFuneralHome.com
