Gloria Irvin

Gloria “Faye” Irvin of Grandview, Missouri passed away on November 12, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 27, 1941 in Wyatt, Missouri to Walter and Audrey (Myatt) Eddleman. Faye Graduated from Granite City High School in 1959. Later she met and Married David K. Irvin on August 2, 1974.

Faye loved to take pleasure in going camping, traveling and setting sail on a few cruise ships as well. Faye had quite the collection of miniature tea sets and tea pots. She also collected Hurricane Lanterns; but above all she loved her children, and grandchildren. She was especially grateful for her great grandchildren. They brought her the greatest joy and happiness.

Faye was a longtime member of the Southview Christian Church. She was a member of the SOS, outreach committee and the Tuesday night prayer group. She enjoyed being with the friends she made while attending.

Faye was preceded in death by her Parents Walter Eugene Eddleman, and Audrey Elizabeth (Myatt) Eddleman and her Son Jeffrey Wayne Travis. She is survived by her Husband David Keith Irvin, Children Brian Keith Travis, Kathy Rene Martin, Karen Faye Parks and David Keith Irvin II. Grandchildren Amanda Faye Stewart, Audrey Rene Hall, Joseph Edward Travis, Samantha Ellen Travis, Logan Spencer Travis, Moriah Nicole Martin, and Marshall James Parks. Great Grandchildren Elijah Travis Parks, Isaiah Lee Sexton, Stella Verlene Perry, Jacob Terry, Hazel Mae O’Neal, Sawyer Wayne Martin,  Brother Jerry Myatt and Sister Marsha Weeks.

Faye will be missed by all her family and friends. Gloria Faye Irvin will have services Wednesday November 18, 2020 with Visitation starting at 1pm, services at 2pm followed by Inurnment at Longview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
