JD was born June 3, 1987 in Mobile, Alabama to Dennis and Donna Smith. He graduated from TR Miller High School in Brewton AL. JD was a veteran, having served in the United States Army as a Mechanic. He was currently employed at Brinkoetter's Ironwork.
There is one thing he loved more than Alabama football, and that is his children. JD married Haili, the love of his life, on June 13th, 2020. He was an amazing husband and an amazing man. He had a smile that would light up any room he walked into, and blue eyes that sparkled like diamonds. He was a Husband, Father, Brother and Son who will be missed by many.
We ask that you take a moment to hug your children, grandchildren, friends and loved ones. Don’t ever take a second for granted. Time waits for no one.
Roll Tide Roll.
JD was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Smith, his mother, Donna Smith, and grandfather, William Hall. He is survived by his wife, Haili Smith; daughter, Jasine Smith; sons, Houston Smith and Elijah Smith; and sister, Cassandra Smith; as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other family member and friends who will miss him dearly.
