Juanita Barahona Giron De Cuellar

Juanita Edith Barahona Giron De Cuellar, 73, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on September 14, 2021, in Aurora, Colorado. Juanita was born into the loving home of Eusevio Barahona and Ana Giron on February 8, 1948, in Usulután, El Salvador. Juanita came from rough beginnings she was one of seven children in her home. She always worked hard to make sure she could provide for her family.

In 1970 the war in her country was strong and poverty and starvation were huge problems for Salvadorians, so Juanita made the ultimate sacrifice and fled her country for America. She crossed the river into Los Angeles. She found a job with her provided by her boss, Hope, as a housekeeper. She cleaned homes till she met and married Antonio Cantu Gonzalez.

Antonio paved the way for Juanita to become a citizen of the United States of America. Later they would open a diner together. She worked very hard so that she could one day bring her family to America for the American dream.

Due to the passing of her husband Antonio, Juanita then later met and Married Jorge Alberto Cuellar. While working in factories and building Yachts to keep food on the table and a roof over her family’s head. Juanita then continued to help Jorge bring their children from El Salvador and pave the way for a better future for their blended families.

Juanita was always a great provider for her community and family. She was a mother figure to many. You could always go to her for her endless amount of food, her advice, her guidance, her jokes, etc. the list goes on. But the one thing you could always expect from her was her accountability to show up for you regardless of her own situation.

Juanita taught her family that working hard was always worth the reward. She would always give back to her country and make sure her American dream could reach her extended family back home. Her laugh and personality were the life of the party. Juanita will be truly missed.

She is Preceded in death by her Parents Eusevio Barahona and Ana Estebana Giron, Son’s Juan Carlos Vasquez and Alfonzo Casa Romero, and Sister Sita Elena Giron Barahona.

She is survived by her 6 children 3 Daughters Jenny Hope Gonzalez de Noperi, Janet Galvan, Isis Cuellar, and 3 Sons Eric Amilcar Martinez, Mario Cuellar, and Jorge A Cuellar Jr. Her Sister Ana Julia Giron Barahona de Romero, 5 Brothers Luis Alonzo Barahona, Ovidio Barahona, Francisco Barahona and Karlos Mejia Barahona, 7 Grandchildren Juan Carlos Rodas, Edith G. Moreno, Sergio Rodas, Jose Umberto Martinez, Galilea Murillo, Margarita Martinez, and Sarahi Galvan. Juanita will be missed by many other nieces, Nephews and extended family and friends.

Juanita Edith Barahona Giron De Cuellar, de 73 años, de Kansas City, Missouri, falleció el 14 de septiembre de 2021 en Aurora, Colorado. Juanita nació en el hogar amoroso de Eusevio Barahona y Ana Girón el 8 de febrero de 1948, en Usulután, El Salvador. Juanita vino de comienzos duros, fue uno de los siete hijos de su casa. Ella siempre trabajó duro para asegurarse de poder mantener a su familia.

En 1970, la guerra en su país era fuerte y la pobreza y el hambre eran grandes problemas para los salvadoreños, por lo cual Juanita hizo el máximo sacrificio y huyó de su país hacia Estados Unidos. Luego, Juanita continuó ayudando a Jorge a traer a sus hijos de El Salvador y allanar el camino para un futuro mejor para unir las familias.

Juanita siempre fue una gran proveedora para su comunidad y su familia. Ella era una figura materna para muchos. Siempre puedes acudir a ella por su cantidad interminable de comida, sus consejos, su guía, sus bromas, etc. y la lista continúa. Pero lo único que siempre se podía esperar de ella era su responsabilidad de presentarse a usted independientemente de su propia situación.

Juanita le enseñó a su familia que trabajar duro siempre vale la pena. Ella siempre regresaba a su país y se aseguraba de que el sueño americano se puede alcanzar y compartir a su familia y familia extendida. Su risa y su personalidad fueron el alma de la fiesta. Moreno, Sergio Rodas, José Umberto Martínez, Galilea Murillo, Margarita Martínez y Sarahi Galván. Juanita será extrañada por muchas otras sobrinas, sobrinos y familiares y amigos.
