Ricky McColgin

Ricky D. McColgin, 58, of Grandview, Missouri passed away at his home on October 23, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Ricky was born July 16, 1963, in Houston, Missouri. Son of James and Louise (Clover) McColgin. In Ricky’s free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

At a young age he found a love for music at that time he picked up rhythm guitar. Later, finding a new love for playing bass guitar. The family gatherings playing music and singing were some of his most treasured memories in his life.

He is preceded in death by his father, James McColgin, grandparents, and many uncles and aunts.

He is survived by his wife, Tina McColgin of the home, his sons Elijah McColgin and Noah McColgin of the home. Son, Eric (Bonnie) McColgin of Grain Valley, Missouri. Son, Chris McColgin of Grandview, Missouri. Daughter, Heather (Joe) Cruz of Belton, Missouri, and eleven grandchildren.

Mother, Louise McColgin of Raymondville, Missouri. Brother, Jeff McColgin of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and sister Karen McColgin of Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

Ricky attended Belton Assembly of God church and rededicated his life to the Lord. He was ushered into Heaven by the angels.

Celebration of Life for Ricky will be at the Belton Assembly of God on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from Noon to 3pm. Private family inurnment will take place in Raymondville, Missouri.
